EVENT ASSISTANT

CONTRACT POSITION

We're seeking a long-term event assistant that can support multiple projects for corporate events. This is a hybrid position that is based in Houston, TX to coordinate easily with our C.E.O., but also requires online communication with our remote team. Ability to travel, as needed, to assist with events outside the Houston area. At least 2 years of experience in event production is preferred. Starting at 5-10 hours per week. $15-$30 per hour based on experience. 

Workload includes, but not limited to:

  • Vendor and sponsor research

  • Swag research

  • Email, phone, and Zoom communication with vendors, clients, and guests

  • Data management in Clockify, HoneyBook, and Square.

  • Administrative support: Scheduling, presentations, etc

  • Submit proposals for sponsorship and services

  • Document event planning and management strategy

  • Budget tracking

  • Travel planning and research

  • Social media assistance: limited content creation, posting

Requirements – Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge

  • Proven ability to pay attention to details

  • Ability to carry out various tasks efficiently

  • Ability to comply with instructions

  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, SocialPilot, and Canva

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Proven project management skills

  • Be a team player
